Jeff Salisbury
Strategic Advisor, Red Dot Packaging Group
Jeff Salisbury is a packaging executive and strategic advisor at Red Dot Packaging Group. He spent more than 30 years in label and flexible packaging manufacturing, including nearly three decades at Label Impressions, the award-winning Southern California converter he led as owner and CEO for 14 years before selling to Brook & Whittle in 2019.
Jeff learned the business hands-on, working in every part of the operation from press and platemaking to prepress before taking over as President and CEO in 2005. Under his leadership, Label Impressions grew past $20MM into a nationally recognized label and flexible packaging converter serving personal care, beverage, nutraceutical, food, and pharmaceutical brands, expanding beyond pressure-sensitive labels into stand-up pouches, sachets, and shrink sleeves.
Sustainability was central to how he ran the company. Label Impressions operated carbon neutral starting in 2007 and held FSC certification, and Jeff served on TLMI's Environmental Committee, including its Recycling Compatible Adhesives (RCA) subcommittee. He is a longtime member of TLMI and FTA.
The company's print quality earned multiple industry awards, including World Label Awards in 2016 and 2017 and the DuPont Award for Best-in-Class Flexography and Letterpress. After the sale to Brook & Whittle, announced publicly in June 2020, Jeff stayed on as a shareholder and served as the voice of the customer on the company's innovation team.
Today, Jeff is actively involved in sales, market development, and go-to-market strategy at Red Dot Packaging Group, a flexible packaging solutions provider delivering pouches and rollstock film to brands across food, beverage, pet, health, and consumer products. He advises Red Dot customers on materials, manufacturing options, and packaging strategies that balance quality, performance, and cost. He also chairs the SCORE Long Beach/South Bay chapter and mentors at the NASDAQ Entrepreneurial Center.
