Flexography Printing (also known as Flexo Printing) is typically used in medium to high-quantity print runs. This is cutting-edge, high throughput printing technique is extremely popular and widely used here in the US.
A cost-effective solution, Flexo Printing is very economic for high volume runs.
Photopolymer (plastic) print plates are required, however, if you have a medium to high quantity run, your overall price may be lower than digital – speak to your Red Dot partner to discuss the best option for your business.

•ROTO PRINTING
(MEDIUM TO HIGH QUANTITY PRINT RUNS)
Rotogravure printed pouches * Printed pouches * Rotogravure Printing.
Roto Printing (also known as Gravure) is typically used in medium to very high-quantity print runs and can be an economic option for these high-volume runs.
For ultra-high precession printing, your artwork is laser engraved into a metal cylinder. The steel cylinder is coated in copper for the laser engraving process, then finished with chrome.

- Laser engraved, copper plated print cylinders for high precision printing.
- Print up to 10 colors with advanced bag finishes and printing effects!
- Excellent color accuracy and PMS color matching capability
- Exceptional color consistency between print runs even when that run consists of several million copies
- Higher quantity press runs are more cost-effective per unit than digital or Flexo technologies
- Metal cylinders are required. However, if you have a medium to high quantity run your overall price may be lower than both digital and Flexo.
