STAND UP POUCHES
Stand Up Pouches have become the most popular and versatile pouch configuration in the marketplace. The purpose of these Pouches with a bottom gusset is to display your product standing upright on a store shelf. The bottom gusset design also gives the pouch more space than a flat pouch of the same size.
W-FOLD STAND UP POUCH (AKA PLOW BOTTOM)
•The W-fold style pouch does not sit on its seals like the other stand-up pouch configurations.
•The W-Fold pouch is built from one continuous panel that runs down the front, folds around to form the bottom gusset, and continues back up the reverse side.
•The only thing between the product and the shelf is a singular piece of barrier material, creating a very stable base for your product. With this configuration, all panels, front, back, and bottom gusset, must be of the same material as the pouch comprises one single sheet.
